EUHR Solana to visit UN 18-22 September

Javier SOLANA, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), will visit New York from Monday, 18 September to Friday, 22 September, 2006, to attend the UN General Assembly and to participate in a number of high-level diplomatic meetings in the margins of the UNGA.

During his stay in New York, Mr. SOLANA will hold a series of bilateral meetings with various international leaders. He will also take part in a Middle East Quartet meeting and in a meeting of the Kosovo Contact Group, and he will participate in a series of EU Troika meetings with foreign counterparts.
